Interested students may apply by submitting a CV, their abstract, a one-page cover letter briefly describing their motivation for attending the conference and a letter from their supervisor outlining the need for financial support.  Please send these materials as a single pdf file to Prof. Mark J. Kushner (<a href=\"mailto:mjkush@umich.edu\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">mjkush@umich.edu<\/a>) by May 31, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/section>\n\t\n\t<section id=\"refund\" style=\"margin-bottom: 2rem; border-bottom: 1px solid #ccc;\">\n\t\t<h2 style=\"font-size: 140%;\">Refund Policy<\/h2>\n\t\t\t<p>By registering, you agree to the following refund policy:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<ul style=\"margin-left: 2rem; margin-bottom: 1rem;\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<li>Full refunds are available until July 23, 2026.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t<li>50% refunds are available until August 9, 2026.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t<li>No refunds will be provided after August 9, 2026.<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t<p>Note that any cancellation fees will be subtracted from the refund.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/section>\n\t<section id=\"tours\" style=\"margin-bottom: 2rem; border-bottom: 1px solid #ccc;\">\n\t\t<h2 style=\"font-size: 140%;\">Excursions<\/h2>\n\t\t<p>The following excursions are an unforgettable opportunity to explore the best of Montr\u00e9al.
