Registration Fees
The registration fee (Student, Full, Retired) includes lunches and most dinners from the evening of Sunday, August 23 (welcome reception) to noon on Friday, August 28. Registered accompanying guests may attend the welcome reception, participate in the conference outing, and attend the banquet.

Travel Awards
A limited number of travel awards are available to students coming from regions outside of Canada and the USA, and who will present at the conference. Interested students may apply by submitting a CV, their abstract, a one-page cover letter briefly describing their motivation for attending the conference and a letter from their supervisor outlining the need for financial support. Please send these materials as a single pdf file to Prof. Mark J. Kushner (mjkush@umich.edu) by May 31, 2026.
Refund Policy
By registering, you agree to the following refund policy:
- Full refunds are available until July 23, 2026.
- 50% refunds are available until August 9, 2026.
- No refunds will be provided after August 9, 2026.
Note that any cancellation fees will be subtracted from the refund.
Excursions
The following excursions are an unforgettable opportunity to explore the best of Montréal. Wander through the historic streets of Old Montréal, discover vibrant mural art in the city’s cultural districts, paddle along the scenic Lachine Canal in a traditional Rabaska canoe, or take a walk through the breathtaking Mont Royal Park guided by a plasma scientist!
- Option 1 – A tour of old Montréal (2 hours of walking)
- Option 2 – A tour of Montréal mural arts (2 hours of walking)
- Option 3 – Rabaska canoe tour in the Lachine Canal in Montréal (2 hours)
- Option 4 – A guided walking tour of Mont Royal Park with S. Coulombe (~2hours)
Registration Process
The registration and payment system is different from the abstract submission system, so you need to create a second account to register. Please use these detailed instructions to create a profile and register.
During the registration process, you will be asked to select:
- The plasma laboratory you wish to visit in Montréal.
- A conference excursion option.
- Any food restrictions.
Accompanying guests should also create an account and register to make the logistics easier.
